Here at FSG we print onto a whole range of products using the most appropriate method for the chosen product.

Here at FSG we offer five methods for printing onto garments.
Flex Printing
This is ideal for single or up to 3 colour designs, text, numbers, simple logos. The process is to cut out, using specialist cutting equipment, each individual colour onto a special flex material, then heat press at very high temperatures onto the garment, fixing them in place permanently. This material is thin, flexible, vibrant in colour, comes is a whole range of colours and special finishes, like glitter, sparkle, snake skin and a suede effect finish etc. This process suits small quantities, and works with any colour garment.

Dye Sublimation Printing
This is ideal for full colour designs, photographs etc onto the t-shirt. It dyes the ink directly into the fabric of the garment. The garments themselves have to be white in colour or very pale and they must have a high Poly content. This ensures the vibrancy of the design. As the colour is dyed into the fabric it can be ironed over. So ANY design you send us can be printed using this method. Just remember the T-Shirt is a special T-Shirt, and white in colour. You cannot feel the end result.

Full Colour Printing (Dark Garments)
This is a low volume print method for printing onto dark coloured garments. Like Dye Sublimation any design can be printed, however the design itself needs to be incorporated into a shape. The process is to load your design into our software program which we then use to draw cut lines around your image, hence the need to put into a simple shape. However if you dont want your design into a shape then for a fee we can incorporate those cut lines around your actual design. A quote will be given upon request as this is dependant upon the complexity of your design. When this process is complete the design is then printed onto a special highly durable, flexible material. Now we transfer it to our cutting machine which cuts out the design based upon the cut lines. Now finally the print is pulled out of the special material and heat pressed at very high temperatures onto the garment permanently fixing it in place.

Full Colour Printing (White Garments)
Don't confuse this with above, the process is completely different. Again any design you give us can be used. It is simply printed out onto a special paper in reverse. Then we cut out the design manually leaving a small border, we don't need to be precise. The design is then positioned on the White Garment and heat pressed at very high temperatures. Now this is the difference, the finished design sits on top of the fabric, you can feel it, it is not dyed in like Sublimation, therefore cannot be ironed over. It can be printed onto any Cotton, Poly-Cotton mix of fabric, providing its white or very pastel. Not as vibrant in colour as Dye Sublimation or Full Colour on Dark Garments.

Screen Printing
High Volume prints on any colour any fabric. The design is broken down into its layers, similare to Flex printing. Each layer (Colour) of the design is made into a screen. The screens are then loaded onto the screen printing carousel. Each screen is then lowered onto the garment and a special emulsion of the desired colour is squeezed through the mesh of the screen onto the garment, this is repeated for each colour of the design. The garment is then put under a heat source to cure the emulsion onto the garment.
